Yongin Stadium
This masterplan design represents a 125 million USD sports complex in Yong-In City near Seoul, Korea. The project provides residents with sports facilities, recreation areas and a cultural campus that will host national and international events. Main components include a 37,000 seat stadium for soccer/track + field, 1800 seat sub-stadium, 32-lane bowling alley, and regional sports park. The stadium skin is comprised of replicated panels inspired by images of dragons that enhance the dynamic stadium configuration. The site is accessed by a new rail positioned at the center of the project.
